Tuesday, February 16 from 3:30 to 5pm
Haywood County Cooperative Extension Center
The club is open to 4-H’ers
who have completed their annual enrollment form and are at least 9 years old as
of January 1, during the current year. We will begin with a review of
techniques - perfect for beginners too.
During the technique portion, March through May, 4-H’ers will learn hand
sewing techniques, closures, buttons, and simple sewing construction. 4-H’ers will be responsible for techniques
they learn. The 4-H motto is learn-by-doing! 4-H’ers need bring all
materials to club meetings and come to club meetings ready to learn and listen
to directions from club leaders. The
club is designed to be a classroom setting where youth can come and learn basic
sewing techniques. The meeting will be
used to discuss potential meeting dates and a snow policy. For more information call the Extension
Office at 456-3575.
