4-H WNC ALL STARS
DAIRY CLUB is having a spaghetti supper, silent auction, and a 50/050 raffle.
It is going to take place at the Haywood County Extension office on March 24, 2012.
The time is 5pm till 7pm. The cost is $10.00 adults and $8.00 for kids 12
and under. The dinner includes: salad, meat
sauce spaghetti, dessert, and drink.

County 4-Her’s will have a fun weekend at Camp Swannanoa in Asheville making
new friends from across the district, earning 4-H Ambassador credits, taking part in district
officer elections, and participating in fun and informative workshops. Deadline to register is

Haywood County 4-H is excited to offer 4-H
School Enrichment Embryology curriculum to 2nd Grade classes in
Haywood County during the Spring 2012 semester.
Two teacher training sessions will be offered: one before Spring break
on Monday, March 12, and one session after Spring break on Monday, April 23. The 4-H Embryology curriculum is free to
teachers, counts as continuing education units, and was designed by North
Carolina State University to match the 2nd Grade Life Sciences
standard course of study.
The 4-H school enrichment programs are offered
at no-cost to teachers. If any 4-Hers or volunteers would like to help
with the 2nd Grade Embryology teacher trainings please call the
Extension Center at 456-3575.
