4-H Acitivity Night

4-H Activity Night is a fun night for all; activities include annual fashion revue, county presentations competition, and 4-H talent show. Please call the Extension Center by March 25 at 5pm to sign-up for your talent act, fashion revue description, presentation information, and to RSVP how many people in your household will be attending. As part of Haywood County 4-H’s contribution to the Hungry to Help campaign, the entry to the County Activity Night is one canned item per person which will be donated to the Haywood County Bank to help folks right here in Haywood County. The event is potluck dinner. 4-H will provide meat and drinks. Please bring a pot luck dish of your choice.

4-H Babysitting Certification

Learn the basics of babysitting. The one day course will begin at 9am and will cover how to pick age appropriate activities for youth, choose healthy snacks, deal with first aid concerns, and observing a day care facility. The cost is $8; which covers materials. Participants will need to bring a bag lunch. Please call the Extension Center at 456-3575 to reserve your spot.

4-H Teen Retreat

Haywood County 4-Her’s will have a fun weekend at Camp Bob in Hendersonville, making new friends from across the district, earning 4-H Ambassador credits, taking part in district officer elections, and participating in fun and informative workshops. The cost of attending Teen Retreat is $35. Please call the Extension Center to reserve your spot 456-3575.
