Summer is moving out and Fall is moving in. With that change comes an exciting time of year full of fun activities and gatherings. One, in particular, is the upcoming 2008 Haywood County Fair. This year we are expecting a great turn-out with fun games, rides, exhibits, competitions and country singer (and 4-H Alumni) LUKE BRYAN! Here is a link to the official schedule for Fair Week.
Youth events to remember:
- All youth entries will be accepted on Monday, September 22nd between 10AM and 7PM. (PLEASE BRING ENTRIES EARLY)
- Youth Talent Show; Tuesday, September 23rd at 6PM in Building "A". (Sign-up forms are available at the Extension Office and are due by Monday September 22nd at 5PM.)
- Coin Quest; Saturday, September 27th at 11AM. Come join other youth up to 8th Grade search for special coins. You can win money and prizes. (Sign-up will be at the fairgrounds that morning. Only open to youth 8th grade and lower).
